What I plan to do and add to "Radio Noise"


Okay, first things first, let me tell you about how the game is going to play out.
  • The game will be in first person.
  • The game will be in 3D.
  • The game will be in Unity.
  • The game will be for Windows.
  • The game will not use AI under any circumstances.
  • The map will be with each game unique and created through procedural generation.
  • The map will contain: Water, Trees, Sand, Rocks, and Ores.
  • On the map will be located biomes: Desert, Plain, Forest, Mountains, Caves.
  • The map will have supplies on it like Fortnine/PUBG, but will be mostly rare and ineffective. For example: a sniper rifle will have no magazine, no scope and no use.
  • The ability to craft items. For example: From wood you can make planks, from which you can build for example a fire, which will work in the first stages of the game as a starter furnace and smelter, but will be inefficient, so you can make a clay furnace, which requires clay, which is efficient, but demanding on resources, so the next stage will be to build a stone smelter, which is less consuming and by combining bricks, a stone hearth and placing metal parts on top, you can get a full-fledged furnace that improves metals and tempers glass, improves tools such as axes, swords, etc.
  • There will be no buildings on the map initially, they can only be made by players, leaving them space for their imagination a la Minecraft/The Forest.
  • The map will be large and leave a small chance for players to spawn nearby.
  • I don't have the resources to create official servers yet, so in the initial stages of the project's development, online will be local, leaving players the right to have fun and compete with friends.
  • If the project is quite successful, I can promise to make official servers.
  • There will be a maximum of 12 people online.
  • As for whether to make the game only realism or add elements of fantasy - I don't know, for now in the first stages there will only be realism.
  • Players will spawn in a random location on the map with one of the tools to choose from, like in CS:GO Danger Zone. The player can choose from: an axe, a pickaxe, a shovel, or a bundle of firewood.
  • There will be a weather system and day/night cycle in the world. Which can be both an advantage and a problem. For example, light is more visible at night, so it is recommended not to light a fire at night, because other players can find you and your base. Also, it is not recommended to light a fire when it is raining without shelter for it, because it can go out.
  • To win, it is enough to destroy all players or make peace with them.
  • The game will have a scoring system, like the MMR. For each win you get +50—+200 points, for a draw 0—+50 points, and for a loss -200—-50 points.
  • The game will not have a narrowing of the playing area, so players can play as much as they want.
